鴕鳥皮革具有透氣度高、柔軟、美觀等的等特點，其皮革因油脂含量非常高，具有堅固不易磨損的特質，其表面顆粒是此皮革的一大特色，具有特殊的質感，是在其他動物皮革上找不到的，因產量相較於牛皮稀少，屬於珍貴的皮革。
我們的鴕鳥皮革來源為南非飼養的鴕鳥，主要供應Saddle Finish 表面處理之皮革，鼓染製革，能夠呈現皮革的自然紋路，其表面觸感較為乾、滑順。
依照南非鴕鳥加工組織National Ostrich Processors of South Africa 規範，依鴕鳥皮革表面是否有缺陷、切割精確度、表面完整性之不同分成四個等級，其中又以中央大顆粒區域 ( crown area ) 之完整性為等級區分的重要決定要素，皮革分級是提供買賣雙方對皮革品質的認知標準之指標，尤其對於皮革的裁切價值，等級越上層之皮革，相對缺陷較少，其裁切價值相對增加，因為能夠大片的運用；相對地，等級較低的皮革，可能因缺陷分布的位置較於分散，而僅適合運用在小片裁切之物品。因品質認定或是缺陷的定義因不同的供應商及買家認知差別而有所不同，在此我們提供等級辨識的基本說明
